Police have identified the 41-year-old man gunned down outside a neighborhood nightclub on Flatbush Avenue near Avenue H.
Cops found Kelvin Neil, 41, sprawled out outside of the Nocturnal nightclub at 3:40 a.m. on November 27. He had been shot in the torso.
Neil was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Police, who believe that Neil may have been shot during a robbery, are asking anyone with information in connection with this slaying to come forward. Calls can be made to the NYPD CrimeStoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
Two men were shot — one fatally — on Church Avenue in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, police said last week.
Cops from the 67th Precinct said that they were dispatched to Church Avenue near East 55th Street at 1:42 a.m. on November 24 on a report of a male shot outside of Club Monique.
When they arrived, they found two men, a 23-year-old and a 25-year-old, suffering from gunshot wounds. The 25-year-old, who was shot in the shoulder and the chest, died of his injuries at Kings County Hospital. His younger friend was shot in the shoulder and is expected to survive, officials said.
Cops were still trying to determine what sparked the shooting as this paper went to press.

Two NYPD auxiliary officers are being lauded as heroes for apprehending a 13-year-old boy with a gun.
Officials said that Auxiliary Sergeant Jose Maldonado and Officer Veronica Augusto were patrolling past Glenwood Road and East 31st Street at 4 p.m. on November 25 when they heard the sound of gunshots.
Although they are not armed, the volunteers ran over to East 31st Street, where they saw a teen running from the scene.
The two officers chased the teen to New York Avenue, where they held him until police could charge him.
Two alleged shoplifters ended up in jail last week after they went shopping for a post-Thanksgiving feast.
Officials said that 33-year-old Tyrone Taylor and 28-year-old Dion Roberts were charged with robbery in the second degree and assault after they were seen allegedly pocketing yams, potatoes and some fish from the Utica Fruit Market, 848 Utica Avenue near Church Avenue at 5 a.m. on November 29.
Officials said that one of the two men allegedly punched a worker when he tried to stop them from making off with the food.
A 20-year-old man was arrested last week after he allegedly charged at a woman with a butcher knife in his hand.
Police alleged that Markenso Germain was arguing with the woman at the corner of Nostrand and Church avenues at 7:10 p.m. on November 27 when he threatened to kill her.
He then grabbed a butcher knife and swung it over the woman’s head, officials alleged.
Police apprehended Germain a short time later, charging him with menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment.
Investigators are continuing their search for the person responsible for gunning down a man on All Saints’ Day.
Police said that the victim, whose name had not been released, was found shot in the head at 11:30 a.m. on November 1 just as residents of Clara Street in Kensington were starting their Sunday.
Responding paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Initial reports indicated that the victim was shot multiple times in the head. The shooter may have been wearing a Halloween mask, cops were told.
Police said that they have tentatively identified the victim, but had yet to confirm the victim’s identity with family members. No motive was forthcoming as this paper went to press.
Investigators are reportedly working on the theory that the victim may have been shot in the car moments before his body was left on Clara Street. Some residents recall hearing gunshots that morning.
