An pre−summer adventure – and then some – was in store for revelers as they marched to the jaunty beat of one of Brooklyn’s premier parties – the Fifth Avenue Festival in Bay Ridge.
The annual street spectacle drew thousands of fun−lovers to the local ‘gold coast’ where they celebrated the sights, smells and sounds of the season of sunshine at scores of vantage points and exhibitor booths, from 66th to 85th streets.
Special attractions and amusements – including carnival−style rides, entertainment and contests – vied for attention with vendors, who hawked everything from clothes to collectibles.
The outdoor extravaganza is sponored by the Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District (BID).
