Young water warriors beat the heat with cooling dunks in the aqua slide while mom and dad fired up the grill for a sizzling block party in Bergen Beach.

Family fun was on the menu during the annual block party along East 74th Street, between Avenues T and U. where merriment was the order of the say.

Carnival-style amusements and special attractions lured homebodies outside to soak in the sunshine with their neighbors, plus share food and friendship.
