Subway sneak
A wretch snatched a woman’s purse from her on Fulton Street on Aug. 29, police said.
The victim told police she was on a Manhattan-bound C train when she noticed the creep staring at her, and when she exited the train near S. Portland Avenue, he followed her up the stairs and grabbed her black-and-beige Tanger bag with her phone, identification card, bank card, and wallet inside, according to authorities.
What a witch!
A tough hit a woman with a broom on Flatbush Avenue Extension on Aug. 14, police said.
The victim told cops the crook tried to grab something from her food truck near Fleet Street at about 1 pm when they started yelling at each other and the malefactor grabbed a broom and started hitting her with it, officials said.
He got canned
Cops cuffed a guy for hitting a Myrtle Avenue bodega employee with his cane on Aug. 29, police said.
The victim told police the suspect was mad about the price of a sandwich he had ordered from the deli near Washington Park at about 10 am, and how much meat it had on it, so he asked for his money back. The victim refunded him and threw a banana at him, and the suspect retaliated by whacking him with his cane in his arms and tearing down the candy stands inside the store, according to authorities.
Data breach
A crook stole a guy’s laptops and other electronics from his car parked on Cambridge Place sometime overnight on Aug. 28, police said.
The victim told cops he had parked his car near Greene Avenue at about 7:30 pm, and when he returned the next day at 10 am, realized the good-for-nothing had swiped his three MacBooks, records, and a Sonos Beam speaker, police said. The victim spotted some of his belongings on the ground and said he may have left his door unlocked, according to authorities.
Dude, where’s my car?
A thief rode off with a guy’s car parked on Saint James Place sometime between Aug. 28 and 31, police said.
The victim told cops he had left his 2013 Mazda four-wheeler near Gates Avenue on Aug. 28 at about 8:20 am and when he went to pick it up on Aug. 31 at 7:30 pm, it was gone, officials said.
