Spooky sights on Parade in the nabe

Williamsburg continues to live up to its reputation of some of the most creative Halloween costumes in the city, and many residents showed off their work at the 13th Annual Williamsburg Halloween Parade.

The event circled Williamsburg, marching across Driggs, down Metropolitan, and back up Bedford Avenue to North 12th Street and McCarren Park, before many participants took the train into the West Village for more parade fun.

All together, the subways were jammed with revelers in costume and friends taking photographs of each other for the inevitable Facebook postings and Internet analysis.
