Soccer player killed
A St. Lucian soccer player was shot as he sat in a car outside of a Utica Avenue club on Aug. 30.
Isidore Philip Tisson and several friends went partying at McKenzie’s Care, which is between Carroll and Crown streets, after playing in the Digicel Caribbean Cup Tournament.
At 4:25 am, a gunman opened fire at the car in which 28-year-old Tisson and a 24-year-old woman were seated, wounding both of them.
The two were rushed to Brookldale Hospital, where Tisson died of his injuries. The woman, who was hit in the arm, was listed in stable condition.

Shooter sought
Cops are pulling out all the stops in the search for the gunman who opened fire on an 88-year-old man on Aug. 19.
Cops are hoping a surveillance video will help identify the shooter, who opened fire at the senior at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Winthrop Street at 3:43 pm, striking the man in the right hip as he sat inside a car.
He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
Police identified his attacker as a black male in his 20s between 5’9” and 5’11”. He is believed to be about 200 pounds and was wearing a Chicago White Sox cap at the time of the shooting.

More senior violence
A 20-year-old thug punched an 85-year-old man in the face during a row at the corner of Church Avenue and Beverly Road on Aug. 30, breaking the elderly man’s dentures.
Cops were told that the young attacker was arguing with the senior near the corner at 5:49 pm, when he lashed out with his fist.
Not only did the blow snap the senior’s false teeth in half, but sent him to the hospital with injuries to his mouth.
The 20-year-old was taken into custody, charged with assault in the third degree.
Three on one
Two young men and a woman were arrested on Aug. 30 after they mugged a man at the corner of Avenue H and E. 15th Street, breaking the victim’s nose.
The victim was nearing the corner at 3:34 am when the three suspects grabbed him.
As the woman stood guard, the two males choked and beat the victim. They then threw him to the ground and robbed him of his cell phone, cash, keys and credit cards.
Cops caught up with the thieves a short time later and charged them with robbery.
Stabber arrested
Cops arrested a 47-year-old woman for a July 26 stabbing at the corner of Clarkson Avenue and E. 52nd Street.
Police said she was arguing with another woman at 9:30 pm when she pulled a knife and lunged, stabbing her victim multiple times.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and needed staples to close the three wounds, said prosecutors.
Cops arrested the 47-year-old on Aug. 26, charging her with assault in the second and third degree.
Burglar search
Cops are hoping that a surveillance image helps them nab a burglar who raided an E. 19th Street home on Aug. 13.
The homeowner, who lives between Beverly and Cortelyou roads, said someone forced his way into the home sometime after 9 pm.
A short time later, the thief used one of the credit cards he palmed from the home at a local store, officials said.

Wipe out graffiti
As the ongoing war against graffiti continues, cops are now offering a $500 reward to anyone with information that can lead them to the vandals that mark up the community.
The hefty reward is part of the city’s new push to rid New York of graffiti, one of the leading quality of life complaints brought to police.
