Bay Ridge boasts its own two−million−dollar emerald empire of dreams – thanks to Councilmember Vincent Gentile.
The lawmaker joined mom, dad and the kids to celebrate the revamped St. Patrick’s Baseball Field, 97th Street and Shore Road, which now includes a larger−sized playing field, new seating areas, fountains for players and spectators, plus the installation of Astroturf, which will benefit more members of the community than before by allowing sports besides baseball and softball – football and soccer, for example – to be played in the outfield.
