Stabbed on O
A man suffered a collapsed lung during a brutal knifing on Avenue O near Schenectady Avenue in Flatlands.
Police said that the victim was rushed to the hospital following the 11:39 pm attack on December 26.
Witnesses said that the victim was arguing with three men when he began fighting with one of the suspects, later identified as 27-year-old Moimar Pierre-Paul.
When Pierre-Paul pulled a knife, his two comrades, identified as 22-year-old Charles Gill and 26-year-old Pierre Joseph, cheered him on, encouraging him to stab his victim, police alleged.
“Do it,” they yelled, according to one witness.
Pierre-Paul, Gill and Joseph were taken into custody in short order, charged with attempted murder, assault, gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
