Pin those wings on Thomas McKinney and Thomas Frerks of Troop 76 in Mill Basin.

The new Eagle Scouts received scouting’s most distinguished honor at a ceremony on May 7 at St. Bernard’s Parish, and our roving photog was there to capture the flying-high moment for the proud, young Brooklynites, their families, their fellow scouts, and Scoutmaster John Farrell.

The two Thomases received their ranks by earning a minimum of 21 merit badges, as well as planning, developing, and leading a service project that illustrated both leadership and commitment to duty. Both have been life scouts for at least six months and showed scouting spirit by demonstrating leadership within their troop or team. As if that wasn’t enough, they had to pass an Eagle Scout board of review, to boot.

Standing O stands and salutes Thomas and Thomas, and wishes them luck and success as they soar forth — as Eagle Scouts.
