Startled coworker knifes prankster in forehead

Bad sport

An angry coworker responded to a guy’s innocent prank by knifing him in the forehead on Meeker Avenue on April 23, cops reported.

The victim told police that he was backing a truck into the lot where he works at 5:05 pm when he decided to scare his coworker by honking the horn.

The startled workmate responded by pulling out of pocket knife and cutting the victim on the left side of his forehead, according to the police report. The alleged attacker then got into his silver 2004 Lexus and drove away.

Making a mess

Someone ransacked a guy’s Calyer Street apartment on April 17 and stole his laptop.

The victim told police that he returned to his home between McGuinness Boulevard and Eckford Street at 7 pm to find the door to his apartment unlocked. He went inside and found the entire apartment in shambles and his computer missing.

On the nod

An intruder looted a N. Eighth Street apartment on April 18 while the tenant was asleep.

The victim told police that he fell asleep in his pad between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue at 3:30 am. When he woke up at 11:30 am, he found his cash, camera, smartphone, and laptop all missing.

Cutting off the driver

Someone stole the catalytic converter from underneath a car parked on McGuinness Boulevard on April 18.

The victim told police that she parked her vehicle near Dupont Street at 5:30 pm. When she returned at 7:30 am the next day and turned the automobile on, it made a loud roaring sound.

She brought it to her mechanic who told her that someone had cut the converter out from underneath the car.

Unwanted guests

A lousy party guest stole a laptop and iPhone from a Woodpoint Road barbecue on April 18.

The victim told police that he hosted a barbecue at his house at 4 pm. The next morning he found that his laptop and iPhone were missing.

iCaught

Cops cuffed a man who they say ran off with a woman’s iPhone on Richardson Street on April 20.

The victim told police that she was near Lorimer Street at 1:12 pm when a guy suddenly reached his hand over her shoulder, grabbed her phone out of her hands, and ran away. The victim gave chase, but lost sight of him.

Then she found a cop and gave him a description of the alleged robber. The cop found him and charged him with grand larceny.
