St. Edmund Preparatory High School’s National Honor Society, moderated by Patti Buckley, held its first coat drive throughout December.

Members of the NHS encouragedadministration, faculty, staff and students of the school, 2474 Ocean Avenue in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn, to donate a coat to the “One Warm Coat” program.

The project garnered an impressive 84 coats, donated to Brooklyn Child and Family Services. Buckley is “proud of the NHS members and all those who generously donated coats to keep others warm.”
