The starry-eyed students were part of a larger costumed bunch which engaged mom and dad with plenty of showmanship during a rollicking summer concert, June 3, at the Midwood school on East Eighth St. between Avenue P and Quentin Road, which showcased their song and dance talents, and brought the school year to a close.

Audience members clapped and toe-tapped along as the costumed crew transformed the auditorium into a hall of sweet skits and melodies to hail the start of summer.— Shavana Abruzzo
