Aaron Brashear from Greenwood Heights says:
A huge blow to the Brooklyn Paper and all of Brooklyn.

With Ben departing to the blogosphere, who will cover such cutting edge topics as animal sacrifices, feral cats and raccoon invasions in our neighborhood?

We love Ben and he's not dead to us...of course we live across the street from a cemetery.

Ben, you will be missed, well, until we turn on our laptop.

Joe Nardiello from Carroll Gardens says:

Very fun...

GL to Ben, of course.

Didn't think I'd stay for the whole vid, but it was enjoyable all the way through Ben's straight-faced delivery, from the fax into the trash.. right down to Gersh's quip with the new guy:

"how old are you?" ...23 and his reaction, 'oh... good"...

Nice.

The stench of betrayal burns my nostrils. Once again our humble BrooklynPaper-loving community is left teary eyed by the departure of another good friend. I, personally, am sick of this. Is the advancement of your career worth our heartache? If you can answer yes to this Ben then it is good you are leaving. But, leave knowing you are a cold and heartless individual and the frigidity of your internal being will forever scare your readers. You my friend, are far worse then that of that albino reporter whose name we shall not speak.

But all in all good luck. I will find it in myself to forgive you this travesty. Blogging is the new print so they say.

Welcome to the Blogosphere Ben! Like Bloomberg's ads say, "CHOOSE PROGRESS."
