Here’s what happened!

Hundreds of Hillary Clinton fans lined up outside a Fort Greene bookstore on Sept. 27 for her sold-out book signing.

Many admitted they were unsure about what to say to the former Secretary of State, but one youngster — donning a kiddie-sized white pantsuit — knew exactly how to greet the one-time first lady.

“I want to thank her for all that she does for girls,” said Grace Lafferty, who traveled from Westchester County with her dad to the event.

Clinton stopped by Greenlight Bookstore on Fulton Street as part of a promotional tour for her new book, “What Happened” which chronicles her experiences during the 2016 election.

The lucky few who snagged tickets spoke with the former pol as she autographed their books.

One little boy brought Clinton a letter, and another young girl who hugged her from across the table exclaimed “What just happened?” as she left the store.

And the former New York senator, smiling and engaged, repeatedly thanked her fans for coming.

“I’m so glad you came,” she said several times.

Outside, devotees chatted about their admiration for the presidential nominee.

And one woman declared her appearance as the marquee event of 2017.

“It’s the event of the year for me,” said Clinton Hill resident Marla Dekker.

Another admirer wanted to express her gratitude, but worried she would not be able to hold back tears.

“I just want to thank her for her service to her country,” said Fort Greene denizen Kathy Urbina. “I hope I don’t cry.”

Hey Rufus,

You know it's been 11 months since that concession speech... right?

He's been given a lot of chances (including a majority GOP control in both houses of Congress that means policies and legislation only need to convince a small number of Democrats to pass. Basically just has to get to the level of "This will not cause direct harm to the country." Shouldn't be a high bar. But apparently it is.

The Republican establishment could not stop Trump. But the Democrat establishment stopped Sanders. No matter how disappointing Trump is, he stopped Hillary. And he will at least always deserve gratitude for that.

Had I known Hillary was doing that book signing I would have went there. I did want to get her at the signing over in Chappaqua, but that one sold out pretty fast, plus it cost money just to get it. Seeing what the Donald has done lately, makes me glad that I didn't vote for him. If there is anything that reads about still being with Hillary or even socking it to those concerned with the current administration, I would love to get those as well as her latest book. On a side note, Michael Moore will be having a new documentary to explain what happened on the last presidential election known as Fahrenheit 11/9, though I don't know when that is coming out.

Tal Barzilai from Pleasantville, NY says:
Just leave Hillary alone. She has been through enough already. If she has really done something illegal, let the courts decide on that rather than any of you especially on those of you who have a noose ready for her. One of the main reasons I voted for Hillary is because I felt we needed someone who really knew what they were doing when being president rather than someone who is just doing it as a stunt for them and being bored. I have always found it an irony that many called her a liar even though The Donald has a long history of lying and was even more of an adulterer than Bill ever was not to mention when of mistresses became his second wife. Let's not forget that most presidents that had little to no experience at the state level before becoming, and there was a handful of them, wound up doing very bad when serving as president, which shows that serving some time as senator and/or governor does help them in the long run when it comes to running for president. Overall, every time he does bad, I can always say this, "Don't look at me, I voted for Hillary."
