You better be good for goodness skate!

Kris Kringle took a day off on Tuesday — one week before Christmas Day — to spend an afternoon in Prospect Park showing off his ice-skating skills to kids. And it turns out the jolly old elf whose little round belly is known to shake like a bowl full of jelly is a whiz in the rink, according to a mom.

“He was really, really good,” said Curlis Mendoza, a Trinidadian on vacation in Kings County, who hit the ice with her kids Skylar and Tyler.

Santa Claus joined the youngsters for an afternoon of frigid fun at the LeFrak Center in Brooklyn’s Backyard, where he helped the rink rats hone their skating skills with some professional tips he picked up at the North Pole.

And the first 100 kids who showed up received vouchers for complimentary hot chocolate from the event’s organizers with Park Slope’s Methodist Hospital, who opened the rink at no cost to the kiddos, but did not subsidize skate rentals.

The out-of-town mom said it was her daughter Skylar’s first time on skates, due to the lack of ice-skating opportunities on her home Caribbean island, but that the little lady did a great job, and can’t wait to lace up again.

“She had a great time,” said Mendoza. “She wanted to go back!”
