Police arrested a man they suspect of brutally murdering one woman and seriously injuring another with an axe at his Flushing Avenue apartment in the early hours of April 20.

Cops charged Jerry Brown with the murder of Savannah Rivera, the attempted murder of another woman, and criminal possession of two weapons, inside his home at Humboldt Street just before 1:30 a.m., according to authorities.

The 34-year-old allegedly killed Rivera, 20, whom police found in the living room of the eighth-floor apartment with several stab wounds and lacerations to her head and body.

Officers responded to a 911 call of the surviving 21-year-old woman — a friend of Rivera’s and, according to the Post, Brown’s ex-girlfriend — who lay injured outside the apartment building.

When cops arrived at the scene, they found that paramedics had already rushed her to a Queens hospital with lacerations to her head and body.

Officers also found the surviving woman’s 4-year-old daughter unharmed in a bedroom within the apartment. They then brought the girl to nearby Woodhull Hospital for evaluation and observation, according to the authorities.

Rivera was the mother of a 3-year-old boy and was reportedly two months pregnant at the time she was killed, the Post reported.
