Every step garnered a piece of eye candy when the 5th Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) teamed up with artists from across Brooklyn for a unique art and photo walk in Park Slope.
Fifth Avenue, from Dean to 18th streets, morphed into an outdoor gallery, affording more than 40 art masters a non-traditional way to exhibit more than 200 mixed media installations, including ceramic tile, oil paintings, computer art and photography.
“Summer is a time for strolling, and we [wanted] to give people another reason to stroll down the avenue,” said District Executive Director Irene LoRe of the two-month-long art show which lasted until Labor Day.
