It may be cold outside — but these kids will warm your heart.
Students at PS 253 performed festivesongs and dances at their winter show, “A Merry Little NYC Winter” in Brighton Beach on Dec. 19. The students, donning bright purple t-shirts and old-fashioned top hats, moved and grooved on stage while singing seasonal songs, like “Wintertime is Here” and “Winter Bells Medley.”
But the show wasn’t just about the youngsters.
The faculty joined in with their own offerings. Several rather pasty performers sang a rocking rendition of the country song by Kenny Chesney, “All I Want This Christmas is a Real Good Tan.” Other faculty members performed in seasonal skits alongside the students.
