A good Samaritan stopped a teen fiend from beating another young man for his cellphone inside Park Slope’s Seventh Avenue subway station on Jan. 6, cops said.
The hapless 18-year-old victim told police the suspect tried to grab his phone while attacking him in the mezzanine of the F- and G-train station near Ninth Street at 6:30 pm.
Fortunately, the local do-gooder witnessed the assault and sprang to action, driving off the would-be robber, according to authorities.
The straphanger — along with his phone — went to Methodist hospital to be treated for an eye injury, cops said.
Officials described the suspect as 15–18-years-old, five-foot-ten-inches tall, and sporting a flat-top haircut.
