New York Methodist Hospital offers a free Surgical Weight Reduction Information Seminar and Support Group, August 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the hospital’s executive dining room, 506 Sixth Street between Seventh & Eighth avenues in Park Slope
During the first 30 minutes of the seminar, a surgeon will conduct an information session for individuals who are interested in learning about the surgery.
A 90-minute support group meeting open to pre- and post-operative patients will follow the information session.
