Sweet sounds from boody music groups

From rock to classics, talented students at David A. Boody Intermediate School 228 for Magnet Studies wowed the crowd with a sweet medley that had visitors clapping and toe−tapping along.

The annual concert featured performances by the school’s acclaimed symphony orchestra, symphony and jazz bands and the “The Boody Keys” in addition to the David A. Boody Chorus, and the sixth grade band and string section.

The groups have performed at some of the Big Apple’s most prestigious venues, including Gracie Mansion and the Plaza Hotel.

“The concert is the highlight of our musical program because it represents the culmination of a full year’s work by these talented young musicians under the guidance of our gifted and dedicated music faculty,” said Principal Dominick A. D’Angelo.
