At Barclays Center, the action on the court is only half the show.

As the Brooklyn Nets gear up for the 2025-26 NBA season, Team Hype, the crowd-energizing performance crew, is searching for new talent to join their ranks.

Auditions will be held Tuesday, June 24, at 4 p.m. at St. Joseph’s University-New York in Clinton Hill. Performers must be at least 18 years old and ready to bring their hype energy.

Candidates should come prepared with sneakers, knee pads, and water. Dress code calls for black, white, or gray attire featuring any Nets logo. Team Hype is casting break dancers, krumpers, litefeet dancers, dunkers and tumblers.

Team Hype performs at every Nets home game at Barclays Center, firing up fans with dynamic stunts, t-shirt launches, and collaborative routines alongside the Brooklynettes, the team’s official dance squad.

Prospective performers can find audition tips on Team Hype’s Instagram page.
