I just found out today that my tax rebate, which was scheduled for this week by direct deposit, will be sent in the form of a check and will, therefore, be delayed for weeks.
Nowhere in the press releases and IRS websites, etc, was it stated that your rebate would be delayed if you used a tax preparer and had your fees deducted from your refund.
Thanks a lot Mr. Bush for nothing.
I’m sure many others who were depending on this money by a certain date now will not be able to pay their bills.
