Starry-eyed students took visitors on a trip down memory lane when they staged a presentation about Brooklyn’s premier amusement Mecca entitled, “Through Our Eyes – The Coney Island Experience.”
The Shorefront Y After-School Stars at Public School 225 in Brighton Beach, wowed the crowd at the bustling community facility, 1075 Oceanview Avenue, as they relayed the peninsula’s and incorporated stories of residents, who lived through the historic neighborhood’s illustrious era.
Students performed a dance routine and a theater production honoring their memories.
