Cyclones 1 (5 inns.)

Friday, July 17, at Keyspan Park

This trademark Cyclone win needed the help of the weather gods.

Starter Collin McHugh (4-1, 3.94 ERA) gave up just two hits in his five shutout innings, but he never had to come out for the sixth because the umpires called the game after a 30-minute fog delay (yes, a fog delay!).

As a result, the Cyclones got all they needed in the first inning, scoring their lone run after Justin Garber and Andy Green opened up with singles — and then both stole bases.

Doc Doyle got the game-winner on a groundout.
