Thank you so much for the wonderful coverage of a recent event involving our organization, PENCIL, (“McKinney Living Magazine debuts,” 7-4 issue).
The article states that PENCIL sustains long-term partnerships between schools and businesses in addition to facilitating the Principal For A Day program. In actuality, Principal For A Day is the kick-off event of the PENCIL Partnership Program, not a separate endeavor.
All participants in Principal For A Day are registered partners in PENCIL’s Partnership Program, and are expected to launch a long-term partnership following their participation in the event.
Not a big deal, we just want to make sure the distinction is clear to your readership since we want to emphasize long-term commitment by all participants.
