Menorah Home and Hospital residents celebrated National Therapeutic Recreation Week by demonstrating their skills in drumming, tai chi, yoga and Nintendo Wii.
Clowns and a resident bell choir provided entertainment, while popcorn and ice cream were enjoyed.
The therapeutic recreation program at Menorah, 1516 Oriental Boulevard in the Manhattan Beach section of Brooklyn, has helped many New Yorkers regain and maintain independence after incurring debilitating injuries.
