It’s going to be gorgeous this weekend, so let the Weekender help you find things to do:
• There’s always the Brooklyn Flea on Saturday in Fort Greene and Artists and Fleas in Williamsburg.
• Go buy a lobster in Red Hook and have a barbecue. And make sure to use Sweet Melissa’s BBQ sauce recipe!
• This is a great event on Saturday — a BBQ crawl in Greenpoint.
• On Sunday, go play chess in Prospect Park with City Council hopeful David Pechefsky. Our columnist did — and lost.
• It’s Memorial Day weekend, so you could choose from two parades — one in Greenpoint on Sunday and one in Bay Ridge on Monday.
And if you must stay inside:

• Go to rebar in DUMBO and get these mussels!
• Go to the first official concerts at Littlefield, a new art and music space in Gowanus.
• You simply MUST go to the Dom DeLuise memorial barbecue and screening of “Cannonball Run,” his classic at the Bell House.
• Mourn the loss of an old record store in Park Slope.
• Take a minute to reflect on the latest awards that our Web site won last week.
• Stop complaining about the death of Mooney’s Bar and go have a drink at the new bar that opened in its place on Flatbush Avenue.
• And Cynthia Hopkins’s weird “The Success Of Failure (Or, the Failure Of Success)” starts at St. Ann’s Warehouse in DUMBO.

• DanceAfrica starts at BAM on Saturday.
• Go see Pete Townshend’s classic rock opera, “The Who’s Tommy” at the Gallery Players. The Butcher of Flatbush Avenue Extension loved it. You could also see “Show Boat,” but the Butcher didn’t love it.
• But critic Mike McLaughlin DID love “Le Serpent Rouge,” a sexy retelling of the Adam and Eve story. Go now and get a rise out of the Fall of Man.
• And while you’ve got the theater bug, go see the Brick Theater’s new comedy, “The Nosemaker’s Apprentice.” It’s about a medieval plastic surgeon. ’Nuff said!
• See a puppet show about bees on Sunday in Williamsburg. Dooley loved it!
• Buy your tickets for the Wilco show or, better yet, enter our ticket giveaway!
• Head to Puppetworks for “Aladdin.” It’s on Saturday and Sunday.

As always, these and other great events are in our exclusive family calendar, our great nightlife calendar, and our matchless events calendar.
