• Why not join the Park Slope Food Co-op? After all, it’s NOT boycotting Israel.
• On Saturday, the Paper Bag Players are back with a new, interactive show for kids called, “Make a Little Room for Me!” From its speedy bike race to a friendly alligator (is there any other kind) to the paint-splattered finale, the 50-year-old troupe never disappoints. It’s at 11 am and 2 pm at Kumble Theater at Long Island University [1 University Pl., near the intersection of Flatbush and DeKalb avenues, (718) 488-1624].
• On Sunday, celebrate the golden age of silent film with “The Extra Girl,” a classic Mack Sennett story about a small-town girl (played by the incomparable Mabel Normand) who goes to Hollywood to hit the big time (and you know that story!). Better still, the screening features a live piano accompaniment.

• That guy from “Top Chef” is now cooking in Park Slope.
• Head for the Purity Diner on Seventh Avenue; you might see Councilman Bill DeBlasio there. He’s ALWAYS there.
• Go rent a copy of “Man on Wire,” which won the Oscar this week and was made by two Park Slopers.
• You could buy Dan Zanes’s new album — if you love God, that is.
• Our critic raved about “The Winter’s Tale,” but didn’t love “The Cherry Orchard,” now in repertory at BAM.
• You can still catch “Sleeping Beauty” at Puppetworks. Our own Trey Dooley raved about it.
