The weather outside may be frightful, but there is so much going on this weekend. Here are The Weekender’s suggestions:

• The Brooklyn Flea goes indoors in DUMBO!

• And while you’re in DUMBO on Sunday, check out the protest against David Walentas’s Dock Street project.

• You gotta see John Doe and Exene Cervenka at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday night at 9 pm. Music Hall of Williamsburg [66 N. Sixth St. at Wythe Avenue, (718) 486-5400].

• Head to the new Roots Cafe in Park Slope for the best coffee in the world. Or watch Gersh Kuntzman drink it in our exclusive podcast on this page.

• On either Saturday or Sunday, head to Puppetworks [338 Sixth Ave. at Fourth Street in Park Slope, (718) 965-3391] for the premiere of the new show, “Sleeping Beauty.” Our puppetry and mime critic, Thurston Dooley III, will be there on Opening Day (he’s been a first-nighter since the 1950s) to file his review.

• You could recreate our critic’s Peter Luger vs. Morton’s smackdown and verify for yourself that Peter Luger is no longer the best steakhouse in the borough.

• Check out the drunken art exhibition at Sputnik in Clinton Hill.

• Head to Patois, the Smith Street trendsetter, which is closing after 11 years. Au revoir, mon vieux.

Don’t — repeat, don’t — go to the public library this Sunday.

As always, these and other great events are in our exclusive family calendar, our great nightlife calendar, and our matchless events calendar.

Drunken drunk: Now this is drunken art like it oughta be! Legendary inebriant Sam Crees created this piece, “In the Alley,” during one of his own drinking bouts.
