Breaking away

A thief swiped a pricey bike from the basement apartment of a First Street townhouse sometime between Jan. 15 and Jan. 18, according to a report.

The burglar slipped into the domicile between Eighth Avenue and Prospect Park West — left unlocked while it was under construction — and made off with a Guru Photon DI 2, which the owner valued at $13,000, cops said.

Mad tax

A man’s motorcycle vanished from its parking spot near his Union Street apartment sometime overnight on Jan. 19, according to police.

The victim parked his ride near his home between Fifth and Sixth avenues at 6 pm, but when he returned at 7:30 am the next day, a thief had made off with the bike, a 2012 gray Honda valued at $10,000, law enforcement officials said. The motorcycle had no outstanding tickets, a report says.

Land line

Cops collared a man who they say swiped a woman’s cellphone in the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center subway station on Jan. 22 and tried to destroy it when she confronted him, according to a report.

The victim was waiting for a 4 train when she felt someone bump up against her, and upon turning around saw the suspect holding her iPhone 6, cops said.

When he realized he had been spotted, the suspect drop-kicked the gadget onto the train tracks and tried to make his getaway, but the woman notified officers and they nabbed the guy, per the police.

Snake in the glass

A crook smashed the window of a parked car on First Street on Jan. 23 and made off with a plumbing snake, law enforcement officials said.

The car’s owner left it between Fourth and Fifth avenues, and when he returned he found the driver’s-side window shattered, a report says. He valued the tool at $500, cops said.
