iPhooled!

Cops arrested a man for attempting to swindle another man out of $39,000 on Aug. 26.

The 44-year-old victim met the suspect, whom he knew, on Senator Street, between Fourth and Fifth avenues, at around 3 pm. The victim told cops that the perp was supposed to sell him 65 iPhones for just under $40,000 — which is actually not a very good price.

The victim handed over the cash, and the perp went inside, supposedly to retrieve the goods. But never came back outside.

The victim eventually called the police, who arrested the suspect.

Evil roommate

A Ridge Boulevard apartment was burgled sometime in the last two weeks by one of its own tenants.

The 28-year-old victim told cops she left her roommate in the apartment, between 74th and 75th streets, while she went on vacation. When she returned on Aug. 26, she found the roommate had moved out — but not before snatching the victim’s laptop, iPod, cellphone and $900.

5 large gone

Someone broke into an 83rd Street apartment on Aug. 19.

The 53-year-old owner of the apartment, between Second and Third avenues, told cops he arrived home at around 6:15 pm and found the back door wide open, and a watch, two cellphones, various debit and credit cards and $5,000 were gone from inside.
