Thrill of the grill grips S’head Bay

A steaming chili smack−down and a grand grill−fest called on local chefs to flex their barbecue muscle for cash prizes and bragging rights during a benefit cook−out in Sheepshead Bay for St. Mark Church.

The hearty spectacle billed, “Grillin’ on the Bay,” drew the culinary−minded to the house of worship, East 18th Street and Avenue Z, where they whipped up palate−pleasing entries in four grilling categories – chicken, fish, pork and ‘chef’s choice’ – plus, in a chili−making contest.
