Park bully
A trio of scoundrels stole a teen’s phone from a Lafayette Avenue park on Oct. 31, police said.
The 15-year-old victim told cops she was hanging out in the park near Waverly Avenue with her friend at about 10:15 pm when the three good-for-nothings approached, and one of them who was wearing a mask grabbed her iPhone, debit card, school identification card, and MetroCard from her pocket and then fled, according to authorities.
Storage sneak
Cops cuffed a guy for breaking into an Atlantic Avenue storage facility on Oct. 31.
Police caught the suspect with pliers in his hands after he broke the lock to the facility near Grand Avenue at about 7:30 pm, along with a glass pipe and marijuana, according to authorities.
While he was sleeping
A lout broke into a guy’s Fort Greene Place apartment on Nov. 4 and stole his electronics, wallet, and passport, according to authorities.
The victim told police he was sleeping in his apartment between Fulton Street and DeKalb Avenue at about 1:30 am and when he woke up later that day at 10 am realized the sneak had broken in through the basement door and stole two of his laptops, brown leather wallet, Nintendo gaming console, and his passport.
Bathroom baddies
Some crooks swiped a woman’s phone and cards from a Clermont Avenue bathroom on Oct. 29, police said.
The victim told cops she left her identification card, bank card, Medicaid card, and iPhone on a counter inside the building near Atlantic Avenue while she used the bathroom at about 3 pm, and when she returned a few minutes later, they were gone, officials said. The victim told police she thinks two women swiped her belongings, cops said.
Bad day at work
A scoundrel stole a woman’s wallet while she was working at an Ashland Place eatery on Nov. 1, police said.
The victim told cops she left her wallet with her credit cards, checkbook, and social security card inside it on a counter while working at the burger joint near Lafayette Avenue at about 9 am, and about an hour-and-a-half later it was gone.
The jerks used her cards at two different locations, racking up about $1,600, according to authorities.
