Overflowered
A quick-handed thief took advantage of a flower gawker and stole her iPhone on April 7.
The girl, her arm outstretched, was taking pictures of some Adelphi Street flowers near Green Avenue on her iPhone at 12:30 am. The thief ran up from behind, tore the phone from her hands and fled.
Headphone lock
Two thugs attacked a woman and stole her iPhone on Cumberland Street on April 6.
The woman said she was walking home near Fulton Street at about 1:40 am when two men approached her. One mugger put her in a headlock while the other took her phone and $20. The girl was uninjured, but the two thieves escaped.
Workin’ man
This jerk apparently had a job to do.
The thief stole a box full of tools from a construction site on Washington Avenue overnight on April 4.
The victim came back to work, which is between Atlantic Avenue and Fulton Street, at 8:40 am on April 5, only to find that multiple (and expensive) saws, knives and various other tools were gone.
Bike plight
A thief stole some wheels from a Clermont Avenue garage on April 5.
The victim told police that he left his bike in the garage near Willoughby Avenue early that morning. He came back at 10:45 am to his missing Huffy and a broken garage door.
Bump ’n’ go
Yet another thief used the old bump-and-run technique to steal a wallet at the Flatbush Avenue McDonald’s on April 6.
The victim was eating a burger at the eatery near Atlantic Avenue when he was nudged on the side by the conniving jerk at about 1 pm. Later, he realized that his wallet, cash and credit cards were missing.
The wrestlers
Two thugs attacked and swindled a man on Adelphi Street on April 9.
The man was between Greene Avenue and Fulton Street at midnight when the perps struck — putting him in a choke hold and punching him in the face. The two made off with his iPod and wallet.
