Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn Architects has appointed Sarah F. Cox as its communications coordinator. In her new role, Cox will be responsible for the firm’s branding, Web site, public relations and other communications functions.
Cox is also a contributing writer for the “Architect’s Newspaper,” where she writes, both feature-length articles and news briefs. Her reporting provides insight on important issues facing the profession for a readership of New York architects.
Prior to joining EE&K Architects, Cox was part of the communications department at Perkins Eastman, the largest architecture firm in New York. There, she coordinated public relations activities, wrote press releases, by-lined articles and award entries.
She oversaw the writing and editing of all firm-wide brochure text for the 800 employee office. Cox has held a number of additional writing and editing positions at Dwell Magazine, Architectural Record and C-Ville Weekly, a news and arts publication in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She earned a BS in Architecture and English Literature from the University of Virginia and resides in Park Slope.
