In the August 6 issue of this paper in a piece on the US Army Recruiting Battalion at Fort Hamilton Army Base, incoming Lt. Col. Omuso D. George was incorrectly identified as Amuso;
Sgt. 1st Class Constance Campbell was incorrectly identified as Officer Campbell;
Outgoing Lt. Col. Paul J. Cook received a service medal, not a pin;
The battalion is one of the largest army recruiting, not draft, units in the country;
And the ceremony was erroneously referred to as a changing of the guard, whereas it was a changing of command.
