76th Precinct

Carroll Gardens-Cobble Hill–Red Hook

Bad paint job

A vandal keyed a guy’s car when it was parked on Dwight Street on July 12.

The owner told police he walked away from his black 2003 Bavarian Motor Works vehicle parked between Lorraine and Dikeman streets at midnight for five minutes, and came back to find someone had scraped a key along the entire length of the car, according to authorities.

Wheels have come off

A punk swiped a guy’s bike wheels after he locked up his ride in front of his house on Third Place on the night of July 10.

The guy parked his two-wheeler between Clinton and Court streets, and came until at 2 pm the next day to find some jerk had taken the tires off, police said.

Tall order

A 6-foot tough threatened a teen with a gun then stole his phone on Columbia Street on July 10.

The kid was near Congress street at midnight when the knave said, “Run your pockets” and flashed the firearm, police said. He then took off with the teen’s Samsung Galaxy and two yellow metal chains, according to authorities.

Mystery man

A nogoodnik punched a guy in the face on Kings Street on July 10.

A woman told police she saw the jerk sock the man in the head between Richards and Van Brunt streets at 10 pm, before he ran off, according to authorities.

The guy fell over and wouldn’t give his name or age when police arrived, officials said.

Halfway there

Police cuffed one of the suspects who they say threw a woman to the ground and stole her cellphone and cash on W. Ninth Street on July 10.

The man-in-irons and a 34-year-old woman allegedly pushed the 52-year-old woman to the ground between Hicks and Columbia streets at 2 am, hurting her neck and arm, before grabbing her phone, debit card, and money, police said.

The suspect allegedly had crack pipe on him when officers caught up with him, so police charged him with robbery and criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to authorities.
