Craigslist crooks

Two gun-wielding goons used Craigslist.org to lure a man into their car on 72nd Street on Feb. 29, where he was robbed of cash and, later, his car.

The victim told police that he agreed to meet the men in their car between Fourth and Fifth avenues at around 12:16 am to purchase an iPad the villains had offered on the website.

When he got into the thugs’ silver 450CL, however, the driver locked the doors while the other man pistol-whipped the victim in the head. They then stripped him of his valuables, taking $650, his U.S. passport, his house and car keys, and his $100 Blackberry. The victim unlocked the doors and fled, but returned a half-hour later to find that his car, a 2011 Honda worth $12,500, was missing.
