Warby Parker is bringing its signature mix of style, affordability and design to Downtown Brooklyn.

On Jan. 31, the lifestyle eyewear brand will open a new store at City Point, expanding its footprint in the borough and giving local shoppers easier access to eye exams, glasses and contacts in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn’s growing retail center.

The City Point location will offer Warby Parker’s full optical and sunglass assortment, including the brand’s Spring 2026 collection, as well as frames for children aged four to eight and third-party contact lenses and accessories. The store will also provide in-person eye exams, allowing customers to handle everything from prescriptions to frame fittings in one visit.

Adding a Brooklyn touch, the space will feature artwork by beloved local cartoonist Roz Chast, making it one of the few stores with a location-specific artistic element.

To celebrate opening weekend, the company will lean into a festive, local vibe. Shoppers can enjoy complimentary cookies while shopping, and the first 50 customers through the doors will receive a custom lens cloth featuring Chast’s artwork. Customers who take advantage of Warby Parker’s “Add a Pair and Save” promotion will also receive a free tote bag, also designed with Chast’s illustrations.

The new store is the latest addition to City Point BKLYN, the mixed-use development that has become a retail and dining hub for Downtown Brooklyn, steps from the DeKalb Avenue subway station, which houses the B, Q and R trains and Hoyt Street station, with access to the 2 and 3 trains.

Founded to make eyewear more accessible, Warby Parker built its reputation by designing frames in-house, selling directly to customers and keeping prices lower than traditional eyewear brands. The company also operates a long-running “Buy a Pair, Give a Pair” program, through which more than 20 million pairs of glasses have been distributed worldwide to people in need.

Warby Parker has other Brooklyn locations on Bergen Street, Flatbush Avenue and N. 6th Street in Williamsburg.
