Pedal pusher
A bike-riding thug shoved a 55-year-old man to the ground and stole his wallet on June 30.
The vicious cyclist dismounted at the corner of Norman Avenue and Russell Street at around 10:20 am, then swung his bike at the victim, knocking him over. Once the victim was on the ground, the crook grabbed his wallet and rode away with $80.
Passport snag
A brazen bad guy grabbed a woman’s purse on Manhattan Avenue and escaped into a subway station on June 28.
The thug grabbed the Chloe handbag, which was sitting on the sidewalk between his victim’s legs near the corner of Norman Avenue, at around 12:55 am. Once he had the bag, which contained a Nikon camera, a British passport, keys, and credit cards, the crook dashed away from sprinted into the Manhattan Avenue G-train station.
Suzuki snatched
North Brooklyn auto thieves had their hearts set on Suzuki motorcycles this week. Crooks stole at least two of the rice burners from Greenpoint streets. Here are the lurid details:
• A crook stole one from a Milton Street driveway between 9:30 pm on June 25 and 5 pm on July 1, escaping from the spot, between Franklin Street and Manhattan Avenue, with a blue motorbike valued at $9,000.
• A two-wheeled thief stole a Manhattan Avenue man’s motorbike from its spot near the corner of Norman Avenue and Lorimer Street between 10 pm on July 3 and 1:30 pm on July 4.
Break in busted
Cops nabbed two men suspected of attempting to break into a Morgan Avenue warehouse on July 3.
Witnesses say they alerted cops when they saw one suspect removing the skylights from the business, which is between Norman and Nassau avenues, while the other suspect acted as a lookout on the sidewalk below.
Police arrested a 60-year-old and a 39-year-old suspect before they got into the building, cops say.
Bottle service
Cops arrested three men suspected of assaulting a teenager with glass bottles on July 5.
The thugs struck at around 12:50 am, attacking their 16-year-old victim as he was hanging out with friends on the corner of Sutton Street and Driggs Avenue. The vicious assault left the victim bruised and bloodied, but cops arrested three 19-year-old suspects later that day.
