Standing O is keeping the lights on and putting out the welcome mat for a new board of directors at the Brooklyn Community Foundation: Deborah Archer, Genevieve Kahr, Harsha Marti, Gabriel Schwartz, Sarah Williams and John Wright.
The new slate will be joining current members Donald Elliot, Malcom MacKay, Reverend Emma Jordan Simpson, Michael Sherman, Robert Catell, Richard Moore, Constance Roosevelt, Alan Fishman, Rohit Desai, and Hildy Simmons.
Chairman Fishman is delighted to welcome them to the fold.
“I am thrilled to have such accomplished and passionate Brooklynites dedicate themselves to our mission and the future of our borough,” he said.
Standing O is too because Brooklyn needs more passionate and dedicated citizens.
The foundation also welcomed new members to its growing staff: Russatta Buford, director of strategy and operations; Sarah Shannon, director of philanthropy and donor services; Prachi Patankar, senior program associate, and Andrew Weaver, administrative and programs.
You can meet all the members, new and old, at the group’s open house on March 4 where you can learn all about its mission and initiatives.
