Sex ed shorts
Sex education isn’t just for randy tweens — writer and sex educator Lux Alptraum has turned it into a comedy show for grown-ups. “The Wonderful World of Boning: Sex Ed With a Sense of Humor” returns for another installment at Union Hall, where Alptraum and funny people Tiara Francis and Joe Garden will present an evening of hilariously bad vintage sex ed videos.
8 pm at Union Hall [702 Union St. near Fifth Avenue in Park Slope, (718) 638–4400, www.unionhallny.com]. $8.

Dino-mite!
Two words — dinosaur robots. A pack of 20 life-size animatronic and puppet dinosaurs are stomping into the Barclays Center for “Walking With Dinosaurs — The Arena Spectacular,” a kid-friendly show that is probably the closest you can get to seeing what the giant lizards probably, maybe looked like in real-life without resorting to “Jurassic Park”-style DNA cloning.
7 pm at Barclays Center [620 Atlantic Ave. at Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Heights, (917) 618–6100, www.dinosaurlive.com]. Tickets start at $32.20.

Shark in the park
We can’t just wait here for sharks to rain down on us — but you are probably safe at Brooklyn Bridge Park, which is hosting a free outdoors screening of the modern classic B-movie “Sharknado.” Bring a picnic dinner and something to sit on, and watch Steve Sanders from “Beverly Hills, 90210” battle flying sharks against the backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline.

6 pm at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Harbor View Lawn (Enter at Old Fulton Street near Furman Street in Dumbo, www.brooklynbridgepark.org). Free.
