Who’s your momma?

To The Editor:

I am a former National Organization for Women (NOW) member. Disappointed with NOW inaction, I let membership lapse.

Now is the time to rekindle my (and the many others) faith in the efficacy of the organization.

By his choice McCain is covering all bases in his commitment to restore the glory of the USA: He has the foreign experience, the savvy, the toughness and above all the love and devotion to country that will guide him in his decisions.

Sarah Palin is a winner. She took on the multi tasks of motherhood, (she has five children), PTA officer, students’ basketball coach, legislator, mayor of her town and governor of Alaska. Each of these “jobs” demanded she be a doctor, lawyer, therapist, accountant, editor, teacher and athlete.

I doubt that there is any woman who couldn’t identify with that agenda. Please light a fire under your membership. Get behind this ticket! As for our sick economy, who better than a woman to stand behind the president?

McCain had his war trauma and triumphed, and Palin had her war zones as well.

To all the men in the world who loved and respected their mothers, give this “momma” a chance. ‘nuff said.
