A brush fire blazed for more than an hour in Marine Park on May 15, according to the FDNY.
The fire began on East 36th Street near Avenue U at 6:19 pm. One hundred and six fire and emergency personnel were called to the scene to fight the flames. A spokesman for the fire department said the fire was under control at 7:58 pm.
There were no injuries reported, according to the fire department.
