How long would you wait for a taco?
The answer: Two hours, if it were prepared by Williamsburg’s most famous butcher, Tom Mylan, who is to pork what Dexter is to criminals.
At 3rd Ward’s 2nd Annual Pig Roast and Dance Party (95 Morgan Avenue), buckets of rain drenched hundreds of hungry 3rd Ward denizenswaiting in line, but they would not be deterred from the best pork tacos in Brooklyn.
During the roast, Mylan also made some news of his own.
“I’m quitting,” he said, referring to his position as a butcher at Marlow and Daughters (95 Broadway), a store in the Diner empire.Mylan will start a new meat-related business in Brooklyn, but did not divulge further details.
