Ruthless robber
Police say a young woman wearing black clothing attacked a senior citizen and stole her purse on Ocean Court on Jan. 22.
Officers say the thief approached the woman outside of the 83-year-old woman’s apartment building by E. Third Street at 2:20 pm. Cops say the good-for-nothing grabbed the senior citizen’s purse, pushed her, and then punched her in the face and fled on foot toward Avenue X.
The victim has injuries on her elbow, shin, and also has pain in her ribs, according to authorities.
Wrong life path
Two crooks stole a 50-year-old woman’s wallet after asking her for directions on Exeter Street on Jan. 25, according to reports.
Authorities say one of the suspects approached the woman when she was near Hampton Avenue at 7 pm and asked her for directions to the train.
The second suspect then pushed the victim, and grabbed her wallet, which contained credit and debit cards, according to reports. Police say the men fled in an unknown direction.
Firearm frenzy
A gun-wielding goon robbed a woman on E. 22nd Street on Jan. 21, according to a police report.
The victim told cops she was near Avenue U at 3:48 am when the crook pulled a black firearm and asked the woman if she had any jewelry. Officers say the suspect then stole her purse, which contained her $350 paycheck.
Authorities say the crook fled on foot on Avenue U.
Not the brightest bulb
A burglar broke into a senior citizen’s home on Quentin Road on Jan. 19 and turned on every light in the house but didn’t steal anything, an officer stated.
Authorities say the dim-witted dunce broke into the home between E. Third and Fourth streets at 3:55 am. Police say that the crook didn’t remove any of the homeowner’s property, though the thief did damage a window.
