Botched burglary
Two burglars tried to break into an E. 17th Street house on Oct. 10.
The victim told police that the delinquent duo damaged the house’s door when they attempted to get in the building near Gravesend Neck Road around 8:35 pm.
They then made off towards Avenue W without taking anything, according to authorities.
Key-cutter thief
A filcher stole two key-cutting machines from a business on Kings Highway on Oct. 12.
The thief gained access through the building’s roof emergency door using some sort of tool and bagged an HPC Code key-cutting machine and a Keyline Ninja Laser key-cutting machine near E. 14th Street at around 9:30 pm, according to cops.
The baddie also tried to get into another room, breaking two walls and a door in the process, cops said.
Emergency entry
Looters broke into an E. 18th Street apartment on the night of Oct. 13 and stole jewelry and cash.
The victim’s husband told police that the looters broke into their apartment near at Avenue R through their bedroom window next to the fire escape sometime between 7 pm and 12:40 am the next day and stole his wife’s jewelry and $90.
Punching robber
A trio of toughs punched and robbed a man on E. 13th Street on Oct. 8.
The victim told police that he walked his wife to the subway, and was approached by three goons near Shore Parkway at 4 am, who demanded money from him.
When he refused, one of the brutes punched him and took his wallet and phone, according to police.
The victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital, cops said.
