Fun and games

Isn’t this guy a bit old to be playing video games?

Cops arrested a 33-year-old who they say swiped a PlayStation 3 from a Bay Parkway apartment on Oct. 19.

Tenants at the apartment near 89th Street said the alleged thief took six games, along with the console, which cops found in his possession the next day.

Hot wheels

A 44-year-old crack addict was arrested on Oct. 19 when he was driving a stolen 2004 Honda past Kings Highway near W. 12th Street.

Police pulled the car over for a vehicle infraction at 9:30 am — and quickly learned that the car had been stolen. A crack pipe was found in the suspect’s pocket when he was taken into custody, cops said.

Slippery suspect

A would-be shoplifter was arrested on Oct. 17 when he was caught stealing several bottles of Olay beauty products from the CVS Pharmacy on Kings Highway.

Employees at the store between W. 11th and W. 12th streets said the thief set off the anti-theft alarm at 11:49 pm when he tried to sneak out with the stolen merchandise.

Headphone hangup

A thief tried to make off with another man’s iPod during a skirmish on 20th Avenue on Sept. 30, but ended up with the man’s headphones instead.

The victim told police that the 23-year-old thief, who was arrested on Oct. 16, attacked him near 86th Street at 8:40 pm, but only managed to run off with his ear buds.

Cops charged the thief with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property when he was captured.
