1 toke 2 many

There’s nothing worse than waking up with a hangover after a night of hard partying to find that you’ve been robbed.

That’s what happened to a Washington Avenue couple whose apartment was cleaned out by a new drinking companion on May 29.

The man and a female friend invited a fellow late-night carouser they had met in a DeKalb Avenue bar to join them in the apartment to continue the good times.

Sometime around 8:30 am everyone passed out, but when the man and woman woke up at 1:30 pm, they noticed that their fellow tippler was gone — as were two iPods, a laptop computer, two cellphones and $100 cash, plus assorted debit and credit cards.

No way out

A burglar was trapped inside a DeKalb Avenue house by the resident until police arrived to arrest him on May 27.

The suspected burglar, 48, posed as a construction worker and entered the homeowner’s basement, a plausible concoction because the victim is remodeling his home, which is between Cumberland Avenue and South Oxford Street.

However, the phony fixer blew his cover when he rummaged through the bedrooms around 11 am.

The homeowner restrained the intruder, barring his escape until cops arrived to arrest the man.

Hole in the wall

Thieves pilfered a DeKalb Avenue convenience store overnight on May 26.

The hooligans broke into the business through the basement by breaking a hole through the wall from the neighboring building, between Vanderbilt and Clermont avenues.

The burglars enriched themselves with $13,000, $600 worth of Metrocards and 50 cartons of cigarettes.

Threesome

A roving trio of hoodlum beat up and robbed a man on DeKalb Avenue on May 30.

The bandits, all teenagers, attacked the 21-year-old victim from behind at 11:30 pm near the corner of South Oxford Street, battering the outnumbered man about the face, chest and legs.

After pummeling him, the muggers took his iPhone.
